Juliann Xu is a Los Angeles–based film composer and classically trained clarinetist specializing in orchestral music. Her scores blend synthesizers with instruments drawn from both the Western classical tradition and non-Western diasporic traditions, creating rich soundscapes tailored to each story.
Juliann is a member of Et Al Studios, where she collaborates with Emmy-, Grammy-, and Oscar-nominated composer Kris Bowers and his team to craft powerful, emotionally resonant scores. Through her work with Fine Line Music Service, she has also trained to the highest standards of music preparation and orchestration under the mentorship of Greg Jamrok, Abraham Libbos, and Josef Zimmerman.
